OVERLEA, Md. — Baltimore County Police made an arrest in a shooting and attempted robbery incident that happened in Overlea.
Officers arrested 26-year-old Karon Dajon Harvell after police said he shot a 27-year-old man during an attempted robbery on Hazelwood Avenue on Saturday night. Police say the victim was able to fight back and was taken to a hospital where he is expected to survive his gunshot wounds.

Harvell is charged with attempted first-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, and armed robbery. He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
