Baltimore County Police have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting Sunday night in Reisterstown.
Brayhant Leonel Sosa-Gonzalez, of the 100 block of Brookebury Drive in Reisterstown, was taken into custody Monday afternoon. He faces charges of first-degree murder and first-degree assault, and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Sardor Fayziev, of the unit block of Gloucester Court in Reisterstown, was found sitting in the driver's seat of the car, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Police said Fayziev and two other people had arrived there when two suspects approached the car, opened the rear doors and began to assault the passenger in the back seat.
During the assault, a shot was fired that hit Fayziev in the upper body. The two suspects then got into a car driven by a third suspect, and left the scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit. Detectives believe that this was a targeted crime, and are continuing to work to identify the other two suspects.
