Deborah Scott was a thriving freshman at Morgan State University back in 1976. She was 18 years old, high school valedictorian and sang in the church choir.

Sadly, how she would change the world would never be known. Deborah was murdered April 26, 1976.

Around 3:30 p.m. that day her sister came home from school. She noticed the sliding glass door to their ground-level apartment in Woodlawn was open. She walked inside and found her sister lying on the floor, dead from an apparent stabbing.

Police say the apartment had been ransacked, but the family didn't notice anything significant missing.
