Woman stabbed in Baltimore's Hamilton Hills neighborhood

A woman died after being stabbed, potentially by a family member, in Baltimore's Hamilton Hills neighborhood Friday afternoon, Baltimore Police said.

Officers responded to the 5600 block of Tramore Avenue at 12:36 p.m. for a reported stabbing. Police found a 30-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds. The woman was identified as Arely Granados. She was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital. Medical personnel at the hospital pronounced her dead.

Homicide detectives responded and took over the investigation. A juvenile who is a member of the woman's family was taken into custody as a person of interest, police said.
