A woman shot at a beauty supply store was one of three people hurt in gun violence in Baltimore City Friday night, police said.
Police said the woman was shot in the thigh inside the Four Seasons Beauty Supply store in the 1200 block of W. North Avenue around 6:50 p.m. An investigation found the suspect walked into the store and shot the victim. The 32-year-old woman was taken to an area hospital and is expected to recover, police said.
The suspect ran from the store and was last seen running north on Druid Hill Avenue.
Hours later, two more men were shot in an unrelated incident in southeast Baltimore. Police said around 10:20 p.m. officers were called to the 600 block of N. East Street for a shooting. When officers arrived they found a 43-year-old man who had been shot several times. They found another victim, a 38-year-old man, shot in the leg. Both victims were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.
An investigation found three men approached the victims and asked one of them for change. One of the victims gave the suspects change and they walked away. The supsects came back a few minutes later, fired at the victims and fled on foot.
