A suspect is killed by the victim of an attempted robbery.
After midnight Monday morning, Baltimore Police responded to a stabbing at the corner of N. Howard Street and W. Fairmount Avenue.
Upon their arrival, officers met with the victim who reported walking down the street, when an unknown male approached and attempted to rob him.
The victim told police he was attacked at which time he pulled a knife out and proceeded to stab the suspect.
Both men were transported to an area hospital, where the suspect later died.
Investigators are considering the killing justified.
Officials say they're awaiting a final determination from the State's Attorneys Office.
