Two women killed in Baltimore

Two women were killed in separate incidents in Baltimore Monday night, police said.

At about 10:07 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 4800 block of Pimlico Road for the report of someone injured. Once there, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the head lying in the grass.

She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

About 40 minutes later, police in the Western District responded to the call of a shooting in the 100 block of North Fremont Avenue. Officers located a 30-year-old woman unresponsive in the 200 block of North Fremont. She was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.
