Police are investigating a double shooting on Halloween and neighbors say it happened inside a barbershop.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 3:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Hollins Street. Upon their arrival, officers found two men ages 50 and 56 suffering from gunshot wounds.

Neighbors in the block told our WMAR-2 News' Nadia Singh that the shooting happened at the New Beginnings Barbershop, which was cordoned off with crime scene tape as investigators collected evidence.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
