Two more shot one dead in Baltimore's Eastern District

Baltimore Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents Friday that left one man dead.

Both occurred in the Eastern District.

Officers first responded to the 400 block of Pitman Place around 8:03 pm. There they found a 26-year-old man with non-fatal gunshot wounds.

A crime scene was located in the 2300 block of Greenmount Avenue. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Less than an hour later, police were dispatched to the 600 block of Gutman Avenue for a second shooting.

An unidentified male was located suffering from life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.

These latest Eastern District shootings come just one day removed from a double shooting resulting in a mans death at the intersection of E. North Avenue and Aisquith Street.
