Two men shot in Baltimore early Thursday

Police responded to two shootings in Baltimore early Thursday.

Patrol officers in the Eastern District responded to an area hospital for the report of a walk-in shooting victim at 4:00 a.m. Once there, they found a 46-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The man got himself to the hospital and is listed in good condition.

Early investigations showed the man was driving on the 2400 block of East Lafayette Avenue when someone began shooting at his car. The shooter wasn't identified.

At around 1 a.m. Southern District patrol officers found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gun shot wound to the face while in the 1500 block of Cole Street. The man was transported to a hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
