Two men injured in double shooting across from Johns Hopkins Hospital

BALTIMORE, Md. — Baltimore Police are investigating a double shooting that happened across the street from Johns Hopkins Hospital Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of North Broadway for a reported Shotspotter alert when they found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot to his upper body.

Moments later, in the same area, officers located another man shot in the back.

Officials say both men were transported to a local hospital for treatment for their injuries.

Police report that because of the severity of the 23-year-old shooting victim's injury, homicide detectives are investigating the incident. The man succumbed to those injuries on April 19. Police later identified him as 23-year-old Keith Mickles.
