Saturday afternoon, police were called to the 3300 block of Kenyon Avenue for reports of discharging.
At the same time and location, Ceasefire Detectives were preparing to execute a Search and Seizure warrant.
During the search and seizure, 24-year-old Lowell Sanders and 19-year-old Malachi Sanders were arrested.
Seized from this arrest was a 7.62 caliber Saiga rifle, 7.62 caliber Romarm/Cugir rifle, C.A.I. 7.62 caliber handgun, Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun, Springfield XD .45 caliber handgun, 415 live 7.62 caliber cartridges, 143 live 9mm cartridges, 117 live .45 caliber cartridges, bayonet with sheath and 37 .8 grams of marijuana.
Lowell Sanders and Malachi Sanders are both prohibited from possessing firearms due to previous convictions.
