BALTIMORE (WMAR) — Baltimore Police say since Friday morning they have arrested eight people and seized 11 guns along with a substantial amount of drugs.
Most of the recoveries police said stemmed from concerned citizens calling 911 to report criminal activity in their neighborhoods.
These latest arrests come as two people were killed and five others were injured in six separate shootings during the same time period.
Police are asking residents to continue calling 911 if they witness a crime. They say callers can remain anonymous when doing so.
