BALTIMORE — Two 25 year olds arrived at separate Baltimore hospitals after each being shot overnight in the city.

A 25-year-old man was shot Monday in the city’s Brooklyn neighborhood, police said. Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a walk in shooting victim at about 10:18 p.m. There they found the man suffering from gunshot wounds to the hand and abdomen.

Police believe the man was in the rear of the 3700 block of 2nd Street when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.

On the other side of the city, a 25-year-old woman was shot in the face in the Milton-Montford neighborhood. Eastern District patrol officers responded to Johns Hopkins Hospital at about 2:45 a.m. for reports of a walk-in shooting victim.

Detectives who assumed control of the investigation learned the woman was shot in the 2500 block of E. Eager Street.

Detectives are investigating both incidents and ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2221 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
