Three shootings within a two hour span leave three men dead

Three separate shooting incidents leave three men dead in Baltimore.

The first incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of Prospect Street.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest when they arrived to the scene.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he later died.

Just under an hour later, an officer on patrol in North Baltimore found a shooting victim in the 300 block of Whitridge Avenue. The man was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Later, at 3:55 p.m. officers were called to the 1300 block of Stricker Street for another shooting.

Officers found the victim shot in the chest, transported him to a hospital, but to no avail he died from his injuries.

Police say they believe the victim was in a house when an unknown suspect entered and shot him before fleeing the scene.
