Three men carjack woman at gunpoint in Baltimore; one arrested

Baltimore Police arrived at the scene of a reported carjacking on the 1200 block of Key Highway.

Police say a 51-year-old woman was driving a BMW when three unknown black males drove behind the vehicle and crashed into it from behind. They say the men approached the woman's car 'pretending to show concern' and later forced her out of her car at gunpoint.

Officials say the three men sped away with both vehicles.

Detectives investigated this incident and were able to arrest 17-year-old Da'quan Johnson. They say at the time of the arrest they found the key to the stolen BMW in Johnson's pocket.

Johnson was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged as an adult with Armed Carjacking, Conspiracy to commit armed carjacking, Armed Robbery, various handgun violations, and various degrees of Assault.
