Baltimore police released a picture of a man wanted in connection to the armed robbery of an elderly couple near Patterson Park.
Police said 20-year-old Darrell Johns is a suspect in the home invasion that targeted an elderly couple trying to enjoy a night out. Court records show Johns has multiple outstanding warrants for other robberies and violent crimes.
On May 4, around 9:30 p.m. police were called to a home in the 900 block of Rochester Place for an armed robbery.
The victims, an 82-year-old man and a 70 year-old-woman, told police a man had walked up behind them and forced his way into their home as they returned from a night out.
The suspect pushed the couple to the floor, drew a gun, and demanded money and property.
The victims gave the suspect cash, a cell phone and a wallet. The suspect then fled on a bicycle.
Neither of the victims was hurt during the robbery and detectives don't believe this incident is related to the Northwest home invasion where a 90 year old woman was assaulted.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Warrant Apprehension Task Force at 410-637-8970 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-LOCKUP.
