A police investigation in the 2400 block of East Lafeyette Street led officers to arrest 31-year-old Aaron Thompson.
Officers say they were able to seize a loaded and suspected cocaine from Thompson.
Thompson has been transported to Central Booking where he will be charged with gun and drug violations.
