Baltimore City Police reported two people dead and one person injured after separate overnight shootings.
Police responded around 12:55 a.m. Tuesday to the 600 block of Laurens Street, where they found a 28-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds to the upper body and a 26-year-old woman with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the foot.
Both victims were transported to an area hospital, police said, where the 28-year-old was pronounced dead.
Around 12:40 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Herring Court. Upon arrival, police “noticed a large group of people surrounding the victim,” a 24-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the torso and head.
The victim was pronounced dead on location. Homicide detectives were brought to the location and took charge of the investigation. At this time, detectives have no witnesses.
