Police are asking for help in their search for a suspect in a robbery of a Dollar General last month.

The suspect is a black male, probably in his fifties, who’s heavyset and has a dark complexion. At the time, he had a gray or black beard and was wearing a black or gray coat, a black shirt and black pants.

Just before 9 a.m. on May 10, 2016, surveillance video shows the suspect entering the Dollar General at 4101 Pulaski Highway. The video shows the suspect grabbing a clerk by the collar, shoving an object in her back and leading her to the register.

Police said the clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. He fled, possibly in a burgundy Ford SUV, according to police.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Citywide Robbery at 410-366-6341 or FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force at 410-265-8080.
