Woman sexually assaulted in S. Baltimore

Police are looking for a man connected to a rape in South Baltimore.

Authorities said a 33-year-old woman was sexually assaulted around 6 a.m. on February 9 in the 1100 block of Carey Street.

Police said the woman was walking in the 1400 block of Warner Street when a man approached her and implied he had a weapon. After the assault, the suspect fled and the victim called police.

She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was last seen walling west on Worcester Street wearing a black hat and dark colored clothing.

Investigators were able to obtain surveillance video from the area of the suspect.
