Police investigating W. Baltimore shooting

A 26-year-old man was shot to death Thursday afternoon in West Baltimore, police said 

Officers were called to the 600 block of Appleton Street for a shooting around 4:40 p.m.

When they arrived, officers found a 26-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  He was taken to Shock Trauma where he later died.
