Police investigating two homicides reported an hour apart in Baltimore

One stabbing and one shooting

Baltimore Police are investigating two homicides that happened in Central Baltimore on Friday evening.

According to Police, officers were called to the first homicide around 4:04 pm on the 400 block of Walton Court for a reported stabbing.

Officers at the scene found a 57-year-old man with stab wounds to his body. They were able to determine that the stabbing happened inside of the home.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they were able to arrest a person of interest at the scene.

Moments later, around 5:14 p.m., officers from the same district were on patrol when they heard gunshots coming from the 1200 block of McCulloh Street.

After investigating the area, the officers found a 37-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his body. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating this incident.
