Police investigating 2 homicides that occurred 10 min. apart

Baltimore Police are currently investigating two homicides that happened nearby, just 10 minutes apart on Wednesday afternoon.

The first occurred at 1:50 p.m. when officers were called to the 1000 block of W. Lombard Street for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found 33-year-old Dayvon Gross with a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was transported to an area hospital, but he later died of his injuries.

The second shooting happened at around 2 p.m., about a mile away in the 1900 block of Penrose Street. When officers arrived, they found 36-year-old Ryan Dorsey suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. He also later died at an area hospital.
