Police investigate West Mulberry Street shooting; one victim hospitalized

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Saturday afternoon.

At a little after 4:05 p.m., officers were called to the 3900 block of West Mulberry Street to investigate a reported shooting. When they arrived at the hospital they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

After transporting the victim to the hospital, the Citywide Shooting detectives took control of the investigation. The victim later revealed that he was in the area of Edmondson Avenue and Allendale Street when he was shot.
