Police responded to the 1500 block of Madison Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Friday for a reported shooting.
Officers found 34-year-old Jamar Hinton suffering from gunshot wounds on the scene. Hinton was taken to an area hospital for treatment, where he died from his injuries.
