Baltimore City Police are investigating an early morning shooting in Southwest Baltimore.
At approximately 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 1200 block of Sargeant Street for a shooting report. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
