Baltimore City Police are investigating after a container with a label that appears to indicate uranium was found in a carjacked van.
The incident began when the driver of the van fled a traffic stop early Wednesday morning. After a short pursuit, the driver stopped over the county line in Dundalk at Eastern Ave and Southern Ave. The driver fled on foot a short distance until officers were able to take him into custody.
Upon investigating the vehicle, officers noticed some sort of container with a label that seemed to indicate uranium. Officers won’t know for sure until the contents are processed.
