Police investigate 2 non-fatal shootings Saturday

Baltimore City Police are investigating two non-fatal shootings hours apart on Saturday evening.

At 10:50 p.m., officers responded to Sinai Hospital for the arrival of a walk-in shooting victim. The victim was a 15-year-old male who had been shot in the leg.

According to a release, the victim at first resisted giving information to officers but finally told them he was in the 2300 block of Denison Ave when he heard a “pop” and then felt pain in his leg.

Police say they have no information on a suspect at this time.

At 10:55 p.m., in the northeast part of the city, officers responded to another non-fatal shooting. A 22-year-old man had a gunshot wound to the back in the 4200 block of Nicholas Ave; he was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

In a release, police say the suspect was described as a “thin black male who looked to be in his late teens” wearing dark clothes.
