Baltimore police are interviewing a person of interest after a woman was shot early Friday morning. 

Police were called to the 600 block of Appleton Street just before 2 a.m. for a reported shooting. When they got to the scene they found a 31-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. 

The woman was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
