Police ID two recent homicide victims

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police released the identities of two recent homicide victims.

On July 18, police found 35-year-old Lonnie Edwards was stabbed while he was in the 500 block of N. Eutaw Street. Edwards later died. He resided in the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

On July 21, 29-year-old Curtis Cannon was killed when he was in the 2600 block of Ellicott Drive.

Monday, police identified five people who had been killed in a three-day span recently.

As of July 23, 186 people have been killed in Baltimore this year.
