Suspect and victim information being what it often can be in Baltimore, Sean Wood's mother says make no mistake, her son was a good father, son and grandson.
Clara Wood says her 26-year-old son was on the Charm City Circulator after his shift at H&S Bakery on his way to visit his grandfather when an argument on the bus ended with the suspect pulling out a gun.
"My son was robbed and shot in the stomach," Wood said.
Wood raised her son in her home in Northeast Baltimore on a quiet street off Harford Road in Lauraville, his name is still carved into the sidewalk in front of the home.
Now she's trying to deal with having his name carved in stone once again along with a date that falls two weeks shy of his 27th birthday.
"You don't deal with it, you just do what you have to do to get time going by. You can't deal with it...."
Because no mother should plan her son's funeral, no argument should end in gunfire.

Police called Wood's murder senseless, committed by an opportunistic criminal who used a gun to settle a disagreement simply because he had it on him.
But in this case there is video.

Detectives say the video shows the man who shot and killed Sean Wood as he was running south from the scene toward Perkins Homes.
"What we need people to focus on, you can see his tennis shoes pretty clearly, focus on his tennis shoes, focus on his mannerisms, the way he walks and some of the build,’ Baltimore Chief T.J Smith said, “It is not great pictures of his face, but of someone knows who this person is, they are gonna know him by watching this video."
And so the search is on.
An arrest, while it would be helpful, cannot relieve Clara Wood's pain, not right now; not while this mother has to prepare to bury her only son.
"No...I don't wish it on anybody," Wood said fighting back tears.
