Police: Four people shot in an hour

Baltimore City police are investigating two separate shooting incidents in which four people were shot within the same hour. 

Shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday officers responded to the the 1100 block of Carroll Street for a reported shooting. Officers located three victims. 

The first victim was an 18-year old who shot in the hand, the second, a 23-year-old man, was shot in the foot and the third was a 47-year-old man who was also shot in the foot. 

All the injuries sustained were non-life threatening, however all the victims were transported to a local hospitals for treatment. 

Just before 7p.m. officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 800 block of Venerable Avenue. Officers located a 19-year-old man suffering from injuries to his stomach. He was transported to a nearby hospital. 

Police do not know if the incidents are related. Citywide Shooting Detectives are investigating both shootings and asking anyone with information to contact  police at 410-396-2221 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
