Police are searching for suspects after an 18-year-old is killed in Southwest Baltimore

A man is dead after a Southwest shooting Friday afternoon.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Boyd Street around 12:52 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

Once on the scene, they discovered an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where he died shortly after

Police are searching for witnesses and a suspect.
