Police: 2 women shot, drove themselves to fire station for help

Two woman drove themselves to a fire station after police say they were shot in Southeast Baltimore.

Officers were responding to the 6100 block of Cardiff Road Thursday morning. While they were on the way to the scene, police heard about another shooting at the 6100 block of Broening Highway.

When police got to the scene, they found a 27-year-od woman shot in the back, and a 20-year-old woman shot in the head. The women had driven themselves to the fire station on Broening Highway to get help.

Both women were taken to the hospital where they are reported to be in serious condition.
