One dead, four injured in Baltimore City shootings on Tuesday

BALTIMORE — One person was found dead and another four were injured in multiple shootings Tuesday night.

The first shooting happened around 4:30 p.m, where a 20-year-old woman was shot in the arm and a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg. Police say both were taken to the hospital.

The incident took place on the border of Northeast Baltimore at the 2200 block of Perring Manor Road, behind the shopping center.

The second shooting happened just after 8 p.m. in the area of 3100 West North Avenue.

At the scene, officers found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg and a 19-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Just before 9 p.m. another shooting took place in the area of 1800 Rayner Avenue.

Officers found 24-year-old Kenneth Shellington suffering from gunshot wounds to the head and torso. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
