A Baltimore Police officer and a suspect were both injured after a tasing incident Wednesday morning.
A spokesperson for the department confirmed that officers were called for a burglary in progress at the Rite Aid at 3935 Erdman Avenue in northeast Baltimore shortly before 6:30 a.m.
When officers arrived, the suspect fled and the female officer pursued him to 3404 Sinclair Lane where, when she withdrew her taser gun, it deployed injuring herself and the suspect.
Both were taken to hospitals. Their injuries aren't believed to be serious.
Police believe the suspect acted alone.
