July 31, 2016 will mark 2 years since Devin Cook was shot and killed in Northwest Baltimore. Two years and still nobody is being held in connection with his murder.
Twenty year old Devin Cook had a part-time job at the zoo, was the leader of his CCBC Lacrosse team and had just gotten word he'd received a scholarship for college when he was killed.
Cook was in Park Heights, dropping off a friend after a lacrosse game. Detectives say, at some point, Cook got a phone call that had him heading to Wilern Avenue. He met with a male, they talked, and at some point that man shot Devin several times. Devin's friend, who stayed in the car, was also shot but survived his injuries.
