Eight people, including a three-year-old, were injured in a shooting at Greenmount Avenue and Preston Street, Baltimore Police said.
Six men were wounded, ages 26, 30, 30, 33, 36 and 39, police said. A 36-year-old woman was also wounded, and a three-year-old toddler.
Police said the shooting was apparently in retaliation to a triple shooting over Labor Day weekend that left one man dead and injured a pregnant woman on E. Monument Street.
Commissioner Kevin Davis called the shooting a "planned, premeditated act of retaliatory violence" when addressing the media Saturday night.
The shooting was reported around 8:31 p.m. Saturday.
All suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
