Update: The victim died from his injuries at the hospital. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
A 26-year-old man was shot on a Charm City Circulator Bus Wednesday.
According to police, the victim was shot in the stomach. He was transported to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Police responded to the scene in the 200 block of N. Broadway Street at Gough Street at approximately 2:50 p.m.
The suspect has been described as a black male who was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black shoes with white soles. The suspect ran east on Gough Street towards the Perkins Homes, police said.
It was the second shooting on Baltimore public transit this year after Keara Peterson was charged with attempted murder when police said an argument on a bus near M&T Bank led to a shooting in Feb.
