BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating a homicide that claimed the life of a man in West Baltimore.
Police say officers were alerted of the shooting in the 1700 block of North Carey Street by a Shot Spotter around 1:30 a.m. Friday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Medics were called to the scene and pronounced the man.
On Monday, police identified the victim as 32-year-old Calvin Carter.
Homicide detectives responded and have found no witnesses and know of no motives.
