Officers on patrol in the Southern District responded to a shooting report from an alley in the rear of the 1200 block of Carroll Street.
Once there, a 45-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh. He was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The call came in at roughly 4:20 a.m Tuesday.
