A man was shot early Sunday morning during an attempted robbery in downtown Baltimore.
Police said officers were called to the 400 block of Water Street just after 2 a.m. for a report of gunshots.
When officers arrived they found a 31-year-old man who had been shot in the hand and had a graze wound on his thigh.
An investigation revealed the victim was in the 400 block of Water Street when the suspect tried to rob him. During a struggle the suspect fired several shots hitting the victim.
