A Baltimore man has been ordered to pay $1 million in restitution for cutting a fire hose as crews battled a fire at the Penn-North CVS as riots broke out in the city following the death of Freddie Gray.
Gregory Butler Jr., 22, also known as Greg Baly, was sentenced this week. In addition to $1 million restitution, Butler is ordered to serve 250 years of community service and three years supervised release.
Butler pleaded guilty in July to impeding firefighters by puncturing a fire hose.
