Man killed early Tuesday, man and woman shot late Tuesday in Baltimore

Shootings occurred in Dolfield and Waltherson neighborhoods

BALTIMORE — A man was killed in the city’s Dolfield neighborhood early Wednesday, following another man being killed and a woman being injured in a shooting in Northeast Baltimore shortly before midnight Tuesday, Baltimore Police said.

Officers responded to the 3900 block of Ridgewood Avenue at about 6:06 a.m. for reports of an unresponsive man. When police arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The man was later identified as 23-year-old Wayne Johnson, of the 4200 block of Rogers Avenue.

At about 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the 5100 block of Harford Road for a reported shooting, between the city's Lauraville and Waltherson neighborhoods. There officers found a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The man was identified as 26-year-old Jordan Taylor, of the 1500 block of W. Lexington Street.

A 28-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds to the legs was also found nearby. She was taken to a hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.
