Man injured, service dog killed in Dorchester shooting; suspect sought by police

BALTIMORE — Police are hoping someone has information about a July 9 shooting in Baltimore’s Dorchester neighborhood that left a 56-year-old man injured and his dog dead.

Police said the man was shot in the shoulder by an unidentified male suspect. The suspect also shot the man’s service dog. The dog died as a result of the shooting.
