Man immediately arrested after police witness shooting

A man was arrested almost immediately after police witnessed him shooting another man in Baltimore. 

Patrol officers were in the 900 block of Calhoun Street around 9:30 Tuesday night when they saw the shooting. They immediately started to chase the man and was able to arrest him in the 800 block of Harlem Avenue. 

The victim was a 23-year-old man, who was taken to the hospital by a person in the area. He is listed as stable and has a gunshot wound to his side. 

Walter Miles, 39, has been charged with attempted murder and several handgun violations.
