Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night in Northeast Baltimore.
Officers arrived at the 3300 block of Cardenas Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, they found 18-year-old Andrew Omar Allen suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken to an area hospital.
Allen's injuries were so severe, homicide detectives have taken control of the investigation. He later died in the hospital.
