Police were called to a home in Northwest Baltimore after a man was found to not be breathing late Monday afternoon.
When Baltimore Police arrived at the home located in the 3400 block of Fairview Avenue, they found the body of a 42-year-old man.
Police say the victim appeared to be suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene and are asking anyone with information to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
