A man who fought his gun toting assailant wound up shot in the leg in Brooklyn shortly after midnight Monday, Baltimore Police said.
An man who had been shot flagged down Southern District officers at 12:05 a.m. in the 500 block of E. Patapsco Avenue.
The 25-year-old man said he was walking on Baltic Avenue when another man approached him and pulled out a handgun. The two fought over control of the gun, at which point it went off, striking the victim in his upper thigh. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to make a full recovery, police said.
